Here's how we're taking action in our community:

Liam and Rhys made bookmarks and stress balls with money going towards the MaxLove Project. MaxLove Project is an organization that helps kids fighting brain cancer and provides help to families in treatment and remission.

Here's how we got the idea:

Our parents helped come up with ideas of what to make. We all worked together to complete the bookmarks and stress balls. We love to support MaxLove Project.

These are the steps we took:

First we cut up paper for bookmarks. Then we made tassels for the bookmarks. The paper was laminated and hole-punched. We put the tassels in the hole. For the stress balls, one person held the balloon open while the other person stuffed play-doh inside. Then we decorated stress balls with silly faces. We made a display sign to put up at the fair advertising the cost of our bookmarks and stress balls with the cause that the money would go to.

Here are some of the results:

We sold out of almost all of our products! We had 75 bookmarks and 25 stress balls. We only had 4 bookmarks left and we made $80.

These are the people who volunteered with me:
