Here's how we're taking action in our community:

We sold sand art bracelets, necklaces and pens at the Ripple Fair at my school, Arroyo Elementary.

Here's how we got the idea:

It was advertised at our school that the ripple fair was coming up and I wanted to participate.

These are the steps we took:

I asked a friend to help, we searched for ideas of what to donate to. Then we found a craft/product to sell to kids at my school.

Here are some of the results:

We sold all 12 sand art pens, all the necklaces and a lot of bracelets. They were a hit. We made 77 dollars to donate!

These are the people who volunteered with me:

My friends, My family

One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:

One student asked what we were donating to. When she found out it was to help protect the pandas from extinction she became excited and told all her friends to come and support us.

One of the most important things I learned was:

Its important to do something that people will want to buy. Squishies were a big seller but our sand art did well also.
