Here's how we're taking action in our community:

Our group collected new and gently used sports equipment to donate to local youth outreach groups which serve children in need, in our community, so that any child has the equipment they need to play a sport they love.

Here's how we got the idea:

I got the idea when I saw someone collecting for "Opportunity to Play" at another elementary school.

We participated at our school's Ripple Kid Fair, collecting donations from students and families

One of the most important things I learned was:

We learned that not every child can play the sport they love because they cannot always afford the equipment they need. We felt good working to help other children play.
