Here's how we're taking action in our community:

We raised money and supplies so we could provide Easter Baskets to children at CHOC Hospital and Kaiser in Anaheim. I helped my parents assemble all the baskets that were delivered, we assembled 100 Easter Baskets that were delivered and enjoyed by many.

Here's how we got the idea:

My brother spent a lot of time in the hospital and I know how important it is to give them something to SMILE about.

These are the steps we took:

With the help of my parents we fundraised through Facebook and online for donations for the Easter Baskets. With the help of many others assembled all of the baskets in our garage.

Here are some of the results:

We assembled 100 Easter Baskets full of great stuff (worth over $3,000) and made 100 kids SMILE.

These are the people who volunteered with me:

One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:

I got to hang out with the other great kids, like some of the Beckman football players and have fun while we were making the Easter Baskets.

One of the most important things I learned was:

I learned that a small act of kindness can go along way to brighten someone's spirits.
