Here's how we're taking action in our community:
We raised money for the Second Harvest Food Bank, which provides food for hungry families in our community.
Here's how we got the idea:
from picking fruits and vegetables for the group with Indian Guides
These are the steps we took:
We bought supplies, made a sign, and set up an ice cream sundae booth at the Ripple Kids fair at our school.
Here are some of the results:
We sold 51 ice cream sundaes for $4 each, plus one person gave us $1 to just buy a cone and toppings.
One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:
So many people wanted to buy from us that we ran out of ice cream!
One of the most important things I learned was:
"It's fun to give people stuff!"
