Here's how we're taking action in our community:
Our class collected water bottles to recycle. I also collected water bottles at home to add to the ones from our class so that I can turn them in.
Here's how we got the idea:
We recycle at home all the time so it was nice to see my class doing it. I volunteered to be the one to go and drop it off at the recycle place.
These are the steps we took:
I brought the bottles home and then got all the bottles from my house and added them to the bag.
My mom took me to the the recycling place and I dumped them in the trash cans for the guy to weigh them.

I was able to raise $5.96.

I was able to take the money that was raised back to my class which will go with other funds to help with class projects and supplies.
