Here's how we're taking action in our community:
I’m taking action in my community by raising money for CASAOC. Their organization helps find court appointed special advocates for foster children who are in need of a friend. My friends and I sold popsicles and pizza to other students at our school. We raised a total of $216.
Here's how we got the idea:
I got the idea from my friend’s mother who commits a lot of time to the organization.
These are the steps we took:
We agreed on items and a price that would successfully sell. We created a sign to provide information. We sold popsicles to other students after school one day and pizza the second daY.
Here are some of the results:
We sold out of the pizza we sold. We made a total of $216.00.
