Here's how we're taking action in our community:

I raised money for ArtWorks in Cincinnati. They employ minority children to create art in an effort to beautify the city of Cincinnati.

Here's how we got the idea:

My grandma works at ArtWorks and I see how passionate she is about it and how she helps her community so I wanted to help to.

These are the steps we took:

My school hosts a ripple kids fair on an annual basis and this was the perfect opportunity for me to raise money for a great organization that is focused on helping is community and the people that live in it. I raised money by selling bracelets and charms to my school friends, family and teachers.

Here are some of the results:

I sold 70 bracelets and 154 charms. I made a lot of my friends smile because they loved the bracelets and picking out their own charms. I see my friends wearing them to school still. All together I raised $187 for ArtWorks.

These are the people who volunteered with me:

I work alone

One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:

I got to talk to people at my school that I have never met.

One of the most important things I learned was:

It feels nice to help other people.
