Here's how we're taking action in our community:

We are took action by selling books, slime, and necklaces. We also collected donations.

Here's how we got the idea:

We were inspired by our friend Mia who had Wilm's Tumor, and beat it.

These are the steps we took:

First, we collected books that we had at home and books that were donated by others. Then, we made slime and necklaces. Next, we put prices on our items and began to sell them. Once we sold everything, we counted the total amount of money that we had collected.

Here are some of the results:

We sold about 20 books, 2 necklaces, 6 slimes, and collected donations as well. We also made 14 people smile and one of our buyers was so happy with what we were doing that she gave us a card.

One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:

A cool thing during our project, was when one person gave us a donation of $15 and another of $20 without even purchasing anything.

One of the most important things I learned was:

We learned that it feels really good to help others and to make a difference in someones life. We hope that our donation to CHOC will help a child with Wilm's Tumor. We also hope that our project will inspire others to help those in need. Any little help, can go a long way.
