Here's how we're taking action in our community:

We made Light Jars to sell at our school's Ripple Kids Fair, and we're donating the money to Ethan & Choco's Book Club at CHOC Children's Hospital.

Here's how we got the idea:

We saw cool light jars on Pinterest and thought they'd be fun to make!

These are the steps we took:

1. We bought the supplies.
2. We made the jars: Put rubber bands on the jars; Spray painted the jars; Waited for them to dry; Removed the rubber bands; Put lights in the jars.
3. We decided on the price for each size jar and made our poster.
4. We sold at the ripple kids fair at Arroyo!

Here are some of the results:

We sold 50 jars and made $205!!!

One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:

People liked the jars more than we thought they would. A few teachers bought jars too!

One of the most important things I learned was:

Spray painting is sorta hard and smelly and it doesn't come off your skin very easily!
We had so much fun!
