Here's how we're taking action in our community:

We made stress balls (with balloons and flour) and slime, and we sold these at our school's Ripple Kids Fair. Kids could buy strss balls that were already decorated by us, or they could pay less and decorate their own at our booth. We're donating our money to Ethan & Choco's Book Club to help them build a library at CHOC Children's Hospital.

Here's how we got the idea:

We like to make stress balls for fun!

These are the steps we took:

1. We bought the supplies.
2. We made the stress balls and then decorated them.
3. We tried out different recipes for slime...after trying 4 different recipes for slime, we decided on the best one to use for our product and made the slime.
4. We decided on pricing, and made our poster.
5. We sold at the Ripple Kids Fair!

Here are some of the results:

We sold out of stress balls in the first half hour of the fair (we sold about 50). We also sound of out slime (36 jars). In all, we raised $113. If we had made more slime and stress balls, we could have raised more money!

One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:

Kids were really interested in what we were selling. It was fun to have such a busy booth!

One of the most important things I learned was:

We could have raised more money if we had more product or if we priced it higher. Also, we learned that it can be easy to make a difference!
