Here's how we're taking action in our community:

Girl Scout Troop 3405 raised money to purchase new pajamas for Orange County Foster Kids.

Here's how we got the idea:

Wanted to help Foster Kids and read that when they go to a new home, they don't usually bring clothes and it would be great if they had new pajamas.

These are the steps we took:

Troop 3405 made signs and purchased items to sell homemade punch and lemonade at their school's Ripple Fair. The girls are also having a party for younger scouts where the admission is a brand new pair of pajamas.

Here are some of the results:

Troop 3405 made 88 at the Ripple Fair which will be used to buy supplies for the Pajama Party and also buy pajamas.

One of the most important things I learned was:

Kids want to help other kids.
