Went to the beach; signed up; got bags and gloves; looked for trash and cleaned it up

We found crab shells, lizard tails and bones of a small rodent.
One of the most important things I learned was:
There are a lot of small pieces of trash on the beach. Birds can eat these small pieces and get hurt. People can also step on sharp pieces of trash and get hurt.
