Here's how we're taking action in our community:

We helped beautify the entrance to the Huntington Beach Shipley Nature Center.

Here's how we got the idea:

An outing with the Pacific Life Good Guys at my dads work.

These are the steps we took:

I helped mulch, water and put mulch into wheelbarrows to be distributed around the entrance.

Here are some of the results:

We planted over 100 southern California native plants and helped beautify the curb appeal of the entrance.

These are the people who volunteered with me:

An organization

One of the coolest things that happened during my project was:

I got to see grubs, caterpillars, a chrysalis and monarch butterflies.

One of the most important things I learned was:

Hard work pays off in beauty.
